It’s really as simple as they claim it is
I was immediately triggered by the description of DebugTool: dealing with the constant back and forth between me and the client. Yes, it’s time-consuming and usually, you just talk past each other because you’re seeing something else than the client. DebugTool claims to solve this.
I decided to give it a go and installed the plugin, registered one of my test sites and started to add notes, to parts of my page. It’s really as simple as they claim it is.
The client can select a block on their page, create a note and the note ends up in your DebugTool dashboard so you can keep track of what your client wants you to finish. Clients can also add a screenshot or a file to make things even more clear. No more miscommunication anymore!
DebugTool is a great alternative to Atarim. I’m really looking forward to how DebugTool evolves. Right now it’s already suitable for production use. There’s great support from Paul.
As soon as DebugTool has integration options for Make.com or Zapier your workflow will run like a charm!

Best Visual Debugger I’ve Tried
DebugTool has brought proper task management and notifications to a visual debugger.
As the manager of a development team continuously juggling multiple projects, I’ve been looking for a tool like DebugTool.
I have tried and returned a couple of similar products on AppSumo, but I’m keeping DebugTool for the following reasons:
I love the email notifications – this is one of the most helpful features for a busy team.
I am incredibly impressed with the speed at which the tool and the dashboard sync – you can mark tasks visually on the website and then immediately see them listed in the project in the DebugTool dashboard. (I also really like the organization of the dashboard – very simple to organize sites and projects.)
Additionally, the customer support is fantastic and responsive.
If you are looking for a way to make your bug reports and feature conversations with clients easier, DebugTool is a must-try!
